I, Michelle Badger, grew up and still live in Wolfforth, Texas, one of three children (I have a twin sister; we're not identical...just littermates.) I'm a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Animal Science, and I've done graduate work in Chemical Engineering and Reproductive Physiology. My work history includes being a veterinary technician at a veterinary emergency clinic, chemist for the City of Lubbock, regulatory work as a Sanitarian with the health department, and an industrial hygienist compliance officer with federal OSHA. I'm now self-employed as an environmental health consultant and am in the process of building a boarding kennel..

I have an adopted daughter, Holly Leftwich, of whom I am very proud! She expertly handles my dogs in the show ring. Holly has been handling and training my Siberian Huskies for over ten years as well as working as and with professional handlers, and she is available to handle many other breeds. Just e-mail us to inquire! I've been breeding, raising, and training Siberian Huskies since 1981 and started showing in 1985 under my former kennel name, Cammann Kennels. My current line's foundation began in 1988 with three puppies from the Dallas area which I was able to incorporate with my earlier lines begun in 1981 and lost in 1987 when my first foundation bitch was poisoned. We are now known as BadgerDen Siberians. Our earlier dogs can be identified by the name "Badger" in their registered names. Puppies are occasionally available to approved homes and are guaranteed to be healthy and free from genetic defects. I decided to add Finnish Spitz to my life when a good friend gave me a darling little bitch puppy, who grew up to become my first champion "Finkie".
